NEM is a free service for schools.
In early January, the BEC matches teachers with volunteers based on match points between preferences provided by volunteers and teachers when they register. A match notification email is sent to teachers with their volunteer assignment and scheduling instructions.
Teachers are the golden gateway to these real-world presentations, opening up their classrooms to experienced professionals while educating their students about career opportunities that are available and attainable. It is a highly effective way for students to learn first-hand about careers in STEM.
